Hiya,

My cousin has just bought a 97 WRX Wagon and he has been told his car has 2 catalytic converters.

Is this true? If so where are they both? Or does it just have 1?

Hi Our 97 wagon had 2 cats in it. 1 in the downpipe and one in the centre section. hope this helps mate!!!

A) Ought to be in technical

B) I believe the cat-like-thing in the centre section is actually a resonator

Would it still have 2 cat's if it was a 96 model? Ijust told my cousin and he goes his is actually a 96 model and it could be slightly different? is this so? or does the 96 'P' reg model have 2 as well?
