Lightbulb No Unleaded but loads of Super!!!!!

Just been over my local god like [99Ron] Tesco, they have sold out of normal unleaded but have loads of the 99 Ron Super, i have to deal with Tesco's and speaking to the security bloke he said no one's been buying it.

Happy days!!!, everyone's stuck at home with no petrol while the roads are free for me and the stock of 99 Ron.

I had to fill up in Wokingham the other day and there was a massive queue at the shell garage. Nobody was using one of the pumps since the unleaded hose was out of service, so I just pulled up there and wanged my Optimax in.

Why the **** don't people just stick in SUL instead of UL?! Are they really that tight that they'd rather queue for half an hour instead of paying a few pence a litre more? It's not like putting SUL in a normal car is going to do any harm.

Most people have no idea what SUL is, though. They've been putting 'ordinary' unleaded into their cars for as long as they can remember, and honestly have no idea what SUL is for or whether or not their cars can use it.

I wouldn't argue about it, though

It's all about the money mate. Remember the BSE crisis? No-one wanted to buy beef; the shelves were full at the local Asdas. A few days in they reduced the price of beef and within a few hours it was gone. Note the liklihood of getting infected meat was unaffected by price, but people still bought it cause it was cheap. Looks like people thought "Well, it might kill me, but what the hay, at least its cheap"
