You've only has the car 5 minutes.
Are you sick of it already ?

I think you would be a bit gutted with a supra once uve had a type r , unless u want an engine to mod to 600bhp plus then supra is for u. As far as road pressence , driving feel, raw performance then the type r is still the choice,

Ive had a type r version 5 sold it to kev at scooby clinic and been gutted ever since, ive drove my dads supra and its nice, well nice but a different style of driving altogether, how i see it is that the supra is just a fast car , where as the type r is a fast special for hardcore drivers. All i know is ive drove new m3.s ,audi s4,s ,gto tt,supra tt, u name it,, but i swear to u i have never drove a car what feels like or gets as much attension as an R.

I very nearly did the same myself, nearly brought a Supra, went for an M3 instead-then regretted that move also and went back to another scoob after 5 months!!!

Good luck finding a decent one, anything well cared for tends towards silly money.

The Type R is the better car overall IMHO, but looks like a ratty old econobox with the interior of a 1985 Hyundai compared to a well turned out Supra.

I used to love the Supra's. One used to do the rounds in Cumbria, all kitted up et al. Sadly, he spun it 3 times and wrote it off - in a 30mph zone!!
I dont know why, but I've gone off them in a big way. I think its because they look so big and uncomfortable. The bonnet looks about 14 foot long and it just doesnt turn heads like it used to. Dont get me wrong, the performance is pretty great, but wouldnt have one now. Mind you, I went off the look of the classic shape Scooby, and have now got a P1 which I think is the dogs danglies and love the look of the car from every angle. I'd keep the Type R mate if I was you, or better still, get a P1 hehe.

Cheaper yes. Faster? I'm not sure. Weigh roughly the same as a Supra. My mates got a MKIV Supra, was TT but now going big single, borrowed it, with his permission of course, not long after he got it, turned more heads than my scooby has, altho it did have full Veilside bodykit at the time.

Supra's are relatively cheap to buy, and upgrading the power is a bit easier than the scoob to the best of my knowledge, but as much as I loved drivin his Supra, I wouldn't trade it for my scooby.

Can't compare a Scooby to a Supra really, just completely different cars, the Supra is a super tourer, great for blasts on motorways etc but not as great on the twisties, I did a lot of test drives as always wanted a Supra but they just felt wrong, dated maybe and just not at all involving
