Just got an online quote from a company called Sabre Insurance - £12,300!!!!

Methinks they probably didn't fully test their on-line insurance quotes software prior to launching it and the decimal point is in the wrong place. They might notice if they don't receive any Business !

 

3 years ago I was quoted 9 grand on a 306 GTI 6, the cheapest quote i got was 4 grand. I didn't buy one in the end.

I had one similar to this by an online company (if i remember correctly a link from autotrader) next day got an email saying roughly "Hi recovered from the shock of your quote, just like to say if you phone BLAH BLAH BLAH you could get a 10% disscount (i think the 10% disscount was more than my quote from Hyperformance)" unfortunatly email addy was not open to be returned to (i wonder why) so sarky letter i typed was wasted.
