Sounds like you already want a newer model anyway so guess there's no point in putting any more money in this one. I personally spent thousands on mine and six months later went for the new blob eye.
The mods will probably put your desire for a new car on hold for a few weeks/ months but eventually you come back to just wanting a change. Wont be a mistake I'll be making on this one after spending £10k on the other bugger!!!

You cannot remap the 97/98 model cars, you need either a piggyback ecu or a new ecu. If your after a newer version then its worth remapping one of those if you want to do mods to it.
