A asked at a dealer about getting roof bars fitted and they said the roof lining had to be removed. Obviously bolted on from the inside.
Not sure exactly, but I'm sure they said about 2 hours labour!
Mines a Newage so can't help with the size.

bars are easy,
remove the black sliders, and unbolt the rails .. you will new sliders depending on whether you fit or replace...
just pop the covers on the headlining and undo the bolts, then fit or replace roof rails
allow 2-3 hrs if doing yer self
cant help on roof dims... its to vague on what you want,
and its dark too
