Default how do you get the spring clip off ?

I know this might sound stupid but want to replace the dump valve on a MY04 WRX followed the instructions but i'm unable to reach the spring clip on the larger pipe. Do you just squeeze the two lugs together ????

Cool

Yup, just use some adjustable pliers and squeeze together! I remember it well, bit awkward to get at that air return pipe!

Job done was a bit unconventional you might say ! A pair of lawn secataurs to un-do it and a nail to clip it back together !!!!!! Sound fookin good though

Cheers peeps.
