Which Classic, STi Version 5 or UK WRX?
Are there big differences between these 2 cars? Handling, build quality, servicing intervals, etc. What about a Uk classic with PPP? Is the Version 5 STi significantly better at going round corners/bends? Does it have LSD at the front as well as the rear? Tell me all I need to know please, all you Version 5/UK classic owners! Thanks in advance, as always, for your feedback/comments!

What do you expect? The scope of your question is huge; there are massive differences in in both the dynamic abilities of the two cars and their mechanical specification. Try searching this site or researching on the internet because youre unlikely to find someone on here who will write this essay for you.
Here will be a good place to start

Thanks Simon, I appreciate your help. It wasn't an essay I wanted, but just a few bullet points. I will look at SIDC in more depth, after all, I am a member there! I will also think twice before offering my full advice, (mini essays) on here when other want help or advice.

The differences are massive though arent they? The engine and transmission are different as is the bodyshell and the suspension. The car goes stops and handles completely differently; it just looks similar. Id choose an STI5 with a re-map every time but your insurance company might prefer the AWD 2000 Turbo.....
With regard to the front diff; I believe that the LSD was only fitted to Type-R and Type-RAs at the expense of their ABS.

Insurance permitted id definately go for an sti......
Currently have a uk ppp which is no snail 230Horses/250Torque would love to get mine to the 300 mark but money involved is just not worth it.
But dont think im slagging the uk models because mines been faultless and insurance is reasonable too and still gives you the grin factor imo.
Best of luck with whatever you decide....Ashley
