Thinking of changing my UK classic for a bug/blob eye STI soon I am virtually decided on a JDM car and have seen the above advertised, does anyone know the spec on these?

i have a JDM sti 7 prodrive for sale,the basic spec includes,roof vent,HID lights all the prodrive kit that the UK version got,obviously the 310 BHP engine,mine is in blue with 18"O.Z. alloys and a 6 pot front brake conversion

I'm fairly sure there was never a "Prodrive Style" tag for JDM cars. It was only ever used for the UK bug eyes.

And be careful of any claims thta the car develops 310bhp. It has the potential to do it - but out of the box without remapping it's probably more like 280-290bhp

as i said in the previous post,I do have a JDMProdrive style STi 7,so i can assure you that they do exist

I think it may be a naming issue - Litchfield imports list the "Prodrive Edition" which is a JDM car (rear wash wipe) if you look at the pictures, but it is not called "Prodrive Style" which was the UK name.

 

Had a look in the Subaru Impreza book (should of done that first) the car does exist and has the extras stated above roof vent, HID's, High level spoiler, blue dials, different bumpers etc...

i've got an jdm sti8 - blob eye - great car and sooo much fun. there a couple in the for sale section at very good prices

 

That'll be why some insurers say my car is an import then!
