brake pad lifespan
can anyone tell me how many miles a 03 WRX should do before the brake pads need replacing?
done 15000 miles in mine now but today i noticed an intermittent screeching noise (not loud) from the front right. i think it might be the pads giving a warning noise.
any ideas?

On track you could destroy a set of pads in a day 
On the road, P!$$y Pete is still on his originals after a million miles 
whereas I trashed a set of EBC Reds in 6k 
The sound you're hearing is almost definately the pad wear indicators. Quality bit of design
