Question

Going to Belgium V early tommorow morning. What tyre pressure do you recommend for 16" wheels and what oil do Subaru use in case i need to top up and where can I buy them middle of the night?

I run 36/38psi front 32psi rear, higher than reccomended in manual but car handles better and you don't wear the inside fronts.


Oil wise Subaru say not to use anything with a 0W rating. I use mobil 1 motorsport which is 15W, subaru say 10W, for top up use you should be fine with Mobil 1 5W-50 which is available in French Supermarkets for less than UK price.

Now according to Mobil the only reason 0W oils are not reccomended is that they have not been tested and Mobil reckons 0W is fine, so if just for top up chuck in any synthetic.
