Alloy Gear **** (6 speed STI) What’s available



Hi all, well might as well be a **** Question for my first post J



Have had a look for a silver Alloy gear **** for my 03 STI (uk)



The best I have seen so far is the Prodrive silver one but I would like one with

The gear box gate engraved on the top or plain alloy with just engraving

Ie no plastic badge stuck on the top.



Is there anything out there like this or will I have to go with the Prodrive one, if so

Can you get it any cheaper than from Subaru ?



Is the WR1 one available this looks like what I’m after

welcome to scoobynet,there are a lot of ***** on the subaru website.....for the six speed gearstick,also some on e-bay the wr1 only comes on wr1's unless your dealer orders one for you using a wr1 chassis no.you are limited by the liftup reverse gear unfortunately,other place is demon tweeks

If anyone want's one ( they're std screw fit ) pm me and I'll see if the guy in the states has any left. He makes batches of 30 in 6061-T6 aluminium- and they aren't expensive.

Can I dare ask what the top of your **** is like (engraved gate ?)

& do you know if he would do a plain one without the ribs - oooerrrr

They are all plain ( no gate or anything ) . I can ask if he's got a 'ball' one - but much of the cost is his time on the CNC machine - so 'one-offs' may be out of the question.

There was a post on here about 6 months ago from a guy who can make ANY design you want, 6 speed gate, STI, Subaru stars, etc etc for a VERY reasonable price, in ally.

Unfortunately, my computer crashed before Christmas and I lost his e-mail addy. Try a few searches.
