Default Quick Question... 0 - 100 Times for Type R??

Hi Guy's,

can anyone advise (appx) what the 0 -100 time is supposed to be for a std STi Type R Version 4??

It's De-Catted and runs Optimax and Booster so should be close to Jap figures??

Cheers and Happy Christmas to all.

I've this same set up and have seen figures varying between 3.8s - 4.2s. TBH, it's ****ing quick either way!

I could say it's that new 'Super' Octane Booster I'm using that gets me such a good 0-100mph time or I could just own up and say I misread the first post and put figures down for 60mph...

Sorry guys. Granty Boy's figures look realistic though...

I only ask as being bored, reading through Autocar to pass the time as looking at figures there.

Obviously the Ford GT is awesome at 7.8 Seconds to 100mph but also M5's at 9.8 and the Carerra GT (I've only ever seen one on the road) at 7.4, the Mclaren SLR at 7.6 seem to be the few cars less than the 'norm' of 17 seconds plus for the majority of 'sport's cars? V8 MG ZT Rover is 17.1 for example. Monaro is 13.3. That's not bad I guess?

By the way, that's the kinda figure I was expecting. @ 12 sec's. Quite respectable I think for a £12k car?
