Default crunching in first

Lately i have found that if i put my car in to first gear quickly then it crunches as it goes in, and on occasions sitting with the car out of gear a squeeking noise is heard but goes the moment i touch my foot on the clutch. I also find that i can feel a vibration through the clutch pedal usually when changing gear in 3rd and 4th about 3.5-4k revs, i seem to feel this as my foot is about halfway down on the clutch. Car is an 03 wrx.

Are these all pointing to the same fault?

Wink

mine does the same MY03, usually crunch first due to lazy foot and the vibration you/I feel is probably due to the power still being sent down the transmision as you start to push the clutch.A quicker change eliminates this..anybody else?..powerman
