Unhappy selling up (sniff)

i am the proud owner of an rb5 which i have loved for 2 years, but sadly after months of trying to decide what to do next i've come to the grim conclusion that its time to sell up. looking at the ever depressing fall in prices and next years sti9 guaranteed to cause a further drop i think i'll have to cash in while i still can. saw one on ebay go for 7 grand with another ten in autotrader going for 12k and under, i fished around a couple of garages asking for a trade in quote and got offered 8k (nearly half of what i paid 2 years ago) with a half laugh half cry put the phone down.

basically what im asking is........ whats she really worth?

rb5 non wr but with full PPP, including straight through exhaust, ecu, prodrive suspension, samco hosing and front and rear prodrive spoilers.
itg filter
forge D/V
greddy turbo timer
crystal sidelights and front/side indicators

33,000 miles
full history and serviced up to 60,000
excellent condition throughout

here are my pics;

original wheels are getting new tires and going back on i think.

thanks for any help

That's a very nice example, ltd edition, sensible modifications, and looks to have been very well cared for.

I would have happily given you 11.5K When I was looking for a Scooby and I don't think that's an unreasonable price to ask for it. I seem to remember one dealer asking 16K for one recently, which is WELL over the top. it may have been a very low milage example, but it was still a 5 year old car!

Unfortunately, classics (with the exception of the p1) are going for daft money these days! so you may just have to grit your teeth and wait an enthusiast to come along.

Best wishes and good luck.

id be hoping for a bit more than 11.5k selling privately as there are higher milage ones going for 11 - 13.
yeah, ive seen 1 for 16k on autotrader for about 6 months, think with that price itll be staying there
