A bit moody today me thinks?
The following is just one of many emails from the guy advertising a p1 on ebay. Just asked him what he had done to his car so I could compare specs to my own sti 4.
Just thought I would share it to cheer everyone up on this cold Saturday!

'i dont need to check anything wus , can you tell me exactly what your car has in its favour please because id love to hear it? sti4 is slower over 0-60 , less torque , much heavier car , 4 door , silly seats , soft suspension(after all the road you drive it on i assume )& i suuppose the best thing for you , your car is not far off half the price cheaper than when the p1 was launched.'

Seems like a bit of a saddo if you ask me. His head is far to much his own ****! doesn't deserve to sell the car with that attitude (probably ragged to death and ready to throw a big end anyway

'dont take it personal butt , but your sti is a boys car , come down & wel see if ur sti will keep up with mine , stis are a bigger heavier car but you must be 1 of these people that know it all , so the best thing to do is to speak to prodrive and ask them what impreza is the ultimate & they would tell you the 22b then p1, other than the new wr1 thats just come out ( only 500 made in the world). but what a load of crap just cause you ve taken it personal whats been said in the add , LIKE I SAID SPEAK TO SUBARU THEMSELVES , AND ASK THEM WHAT THEY THINK , NOT YOU & YOUR M8.'
I get the impression that 'he' is the one who has taken it personally. I must have threatened his ego with some hard facts.

this car is the ultimate impreza,the only 2 door british impreza made!
Damn, surely the 22B is also a 2 door car? (all 16+ the other 2 type UK)
I think the guy is a bit of a d1ck, he doesnt know much about impreza's, the Spec C is a better car than the P1, the WR1 will more than give a P1 the run for its money, and with decent tyres, out handle one also
The P1 was a good car when it came out, this guy just hasnt moved on and is still stuck back in 2000, there are now better, more reliable scoobs that handle better and drive quicker than the P1, and are a more rounded package.

You should point out to this muppet that the V4 is widely regarded as being the quickest out of the box classic impreza, sort of puts a downer on his P1 ownership then
Oh and ask what his car is based upon.....
A wrx with sti engine, because thats what it really is.
The soft suspension part also made me laugh, JDM cars have harder suspension than UK cars (classics)

From his advert, I'm guessing his name is Chris Jones and lives in Neath. I imagine a net-savvy thief with a map could find his car and make the auction a bit academic, not to mention whether or not it is better than a STi 4.

Well if you win...you can brag that your p1 iz da best scooby and better dan thoze slo *** sti4's 0-60, 'av far more torque, much lighter, no poxy 4 doors ,no silly seats an' no soft suspension
