Interactive Mapping
Hello all - i would like the oppertunity to develop this interactive map - http://www.subaru-impreza.org/interactive_mapping/ further and require some help...
Would anyone have any reviews of any of the tracks listed in the demo? This is not complete merely a start of something that could be a great bit of use to the community at large. NOT ALL TRACKS ARE LISTED BUT WILL BE OVER TIME
Your input will not go unrecognised. Your names (if you so wish) will be published as a contributor.
Many Thanks
Gareth

Reviews of tracks...
Donnington - An excellent track for beginners to expert, one of my favourites. The track falls and rises as you go round giving a real racing feel to it, heading down towards the old harpin can be a bit un-nerving to begin with becuase as its downhill thro a couple of bends but a smooth line results in a big smile up the hill with the rear end stepping out nicely if provoked. Lots of run off and a well laid out track with good facilities off track too. 9/10
Castle Coombe - Not really one for beginners in my opinon unless you take it easy, still not a bad track tho. Be very careful of Quarry corner make sure to stomp on the brakes to scrub off that speed before you go over the crest cause once you are there you have to get it right or its gonna hurt as there is very minimal run off with a nice tyre barrier to greet you (yes, personal experince!). Watch your speed coming on to the straight becuase a few people go slighly faster then they should resulting in wiggles, slides and sometimes spins. Overall a fun track but no pit garages mean its better on a day when its not raining hard. 7/10
