funny! phesant meets scooby
HAHAHA the funniest thing happened to daveocean and I on our way back from cloceanog on cambrian rally!
We were driving the new scooby down a yellow towards corwen, when we met a load of pheasants in the middle of road, braked, but one was in middle of road and didnt move....small thud, kept going as when past looked in my mirror and thought it was strange that there was no feathers or phesant..... so we kept going, then a couple of miles later i thought what if it was stuck onto front of the car!
So at a give way, we stopped to have a look, to my surprise there was a rather pissed off pheashant looking back at me, it was only wedged with its head sticking out of the scoop at the front between the number plate... hahaha then before i could get the camera, it climed out and ran off unhurt... hehehehe
so funny, what if we had not stopped to look, could of been going down the A5 with it riding upfront hehehe, it must of had hell of a ride, as we wernt hanging about!!
Wish i had got me camera out in time!!
anway funny thing is i am an ecologist, so doesnt boad well, relocating pheasants few miles down the road....hahaha
will have to fit a mesh grill (or livestock fencing! hehe)

There was a pic in one of the papers the other week, and this guy went for miles with a deer wedged in the front of his car. After a check at the vets the deer was released back into the wild.

The last time I hit a pheasant, (in the wife's xantia), there was blood and feathers everywhere.
2 weeks later, I noticed that the o/s headlight was loose, so took it all apart, grille off etc to repair it.
Imagine my surprise to find half a pheasnt, leg and thigh, done to a turn, stuck to the radiator
NOW I know why they call it a "grille"

I was with Tris when it happened. Funniest thing is that earlier in the day we had been talking about Top Gear last week, when JC was talking about the new Mitzi EVO with 400 bhp, saying that it must have such a big turbo that it would suck up small children & grannies etc. - then Tris's scoob sucked up this pheasant!!! If only it would have stayed in there long enough for a photo, we could have sent it in to Top Gear...hahaha.
