I am thinking of getting a short shifter for my MY02, but need some more info on them. There is a guy selling them on ebay, do you think they'll be ok???

I've got a Prodrive one on my MY 02 WRX....... it would take me a time to look through the reciepts but £199 (inc fitting) seems to ring a bell

Don't seem to get much for your money... For comparison, this is the prodrive equivilant:



IIRC the official price is about £175 for the part ( bought mine second-hand here), but fitting (by a Subaru dealer) cost me £90. In this case it looks like all you get is the lever with the link moved to make the throw shorter but harder. Not sure it's worth the saving.

Its about 300 all in by the time youve bought it and got subaru to fit it for you. Luckily mine had it when i bought it!!!

 

Ive got one of them and its fine, reduces the throw nicely without reducing you bank balance too much .
