how much for full service and cambelt change ?

Default how much for full service and cambelt change ?

car is a 2001 'y' classic uk turbo

done 36k now so due cambelt,having it fully serviced as well

what price do dealers charge and what price would i expect at
an a 'good' non-scooby garage ?

dealer price is about £350, don't know what a specialist charges. probably about £100 less at a stab

My 45K services +timing belt change costed me 400 plus
from Prosport in stockport, Manchester .
they are Independent specialist, there are not cheap but you get quality work

About £450 if I remember correctly,when mine was done.Not including plugs cos they had been done on the service beforehand,which was also about £400+ I think.

Yep, 60k on late classics.

Also, you'll find dealers charge a lot more than the prices given above. Expect to pay £600

£250 for full service and cambelt - sounds a bit cheep to me it carn`t be an independant subaru garage like prosport (no good for your service history either)


all that money for that stamp (sorry just rambling on)

Cambelt change is 60000 miles or FOUR years on MY00 - at least mine was.

thats more like the reply i expected . . lol . .
anyways im having done , the car is a march 2001 classic with 40,000
on it , , at a local garage who i have used before , , subaru is as the above says ,abot 7-800 , , anyway they said between 250 and 300 but no more
and i get book stamped,ok its not a subaru stamp but for 500 quid ish
i dont mind so long as its stamped,shouldnt effect the re-sale value that much
