MASSIVE FAVOUR NEEDED!!!!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me!!
If you own a 1997 version 4 wrx sti, can you please please please give me the 'applied model code' apparently it is located on the same panel as the chasse number???
It is a 7 digit code and I need to see if it matches any of the cars on modelreports.com
Otherwise, i'm going to have to cancel my order via Bonsaicars.co.uk for my V4 wrx sti, as there is no specific model report for it.
BUT, they told me as long as the 7 digit code matches one on the model reports website, all is ok.
Please, i'm gagging for help here...can you gimme a code, or at least a couple of you tell me yours matches the 7 digit code on http://www.modelreports.com
remember, version 4 1997 wrx sti only....ANY help...VERY much appreciate!!
cheers all
Matt

If you take a look at the SIDC FAQ there's a list of all the model codes (section 2.1.1).
A '97 WRX STI 4 is, according to that list, GC8E2DD if it's a 2 door, GC8E4ED if it's a 4 door, or GF8E5ED for a 5 door. Obviously you'd do well to check and confirm this with someone who actually has the car to hand.
HTH, and good luck,
Andy.
