Default Urgent help needed please,

this is on behalf of a mate,

Hes just bought a 93/94 wrx which was imported about a year ago, its been in storage since, its all ready to go on the road, mot,d etc and the dealer he got it off was going to register it for him however after numerous excuses and weeks, the car is still not registered, the dealer has "lost" import papers ie deregistration forms and is blaming DVLA, spoke to DVLA they dont know anything about this car, they seem helpful but he still needs these papers,

is it possible to get them if so where from?

mates getting desperate now as cars been ready for weeks

does he need to get in touch with customs, we know the car came through Liverpool, and the must be some proof somewhere,

please help! otherwise cars getting Broke!!

Thanks for the quick reply, do the sva companies keep a record of all the car which come in the country?

Lightbulb It's the dealer's fault

Tell the dealer to sort it. They caused the problem they should fix it. Give a deadline for them to get the car on the road or else refund the purchase price.

Can't say fairer than that!
