Yep - I'll be there tomorrow. The forcast is crap but at 30 quid a ticket you can't afford not to go!

I'll be there too (Sat), but at an even better £5 per ticket!

As this is the 3rd FoS thread running, I'll post the same question here! Any tips for backroads to avoid the traffic?

Thanks
Arthur

As I understand it (this being my first year), the main roads leading in get packed solid with cars arriving at the event (and worse at the end). So I was looking for someone with some more local knowledge to suggest some backroads that could be used.

If you havn't got a ticket don't bother as it is (according to local press and signs) SOLD OUT.

Well the box office closes today. The event this year is advance tickets only, so I guess the AA signs are the closest they've got.

Unless your local,,,

dont bother with the back roads!!!

in all honesty just head straight for goodwood!!!!,,

the only bottleneck is the a27 chi bypass,, but traffic flows !!!

once approaching g/w everthing is signposted....

remember this is set up by a bloke who is a motorsport nut!!! cars & bikes are well catered for.....

ive been at the race circuit watching him zip round in his f3 car, and he,s pulled into the pits to ask what our transport is like!!!

look out for jumbo jets though!!!!!!

Went on Friday, best £15 I've ever spent on a car show. Will be going back next year.

We arrived at 11:00 and left at 6:30 and still didn't see everything.....we were completely knackered by the time we started to go round the dealer/trade stands, so knocked it on the head.

Traffic on Friday was fine (despite traffic reports saying it wasn't). The only hold up was the bypass as it meets Arundle from the east, as the lights were out at the top of the slip road. About 3 mile tailback, but hopefully they will of fixed them by now.

Judging by the amount of people there on Friday (it was alot) I would think Sat/Sun would be pretty manic.

Will stick to watching it on tellie Sunday afternoon (at 16:00, after Rally Turkey).

Piccies to follow when I have worked out photobucket...

Many thanks to Chip from this board who sold me the tickets and very kindly gave plenty of suggestions and advise. Cheers....

I went on Sat, despite the rain i thought it was the best motorshow i have been too. I know people may not agree, but how many other places can you get that close to so many varied motor sports cars/bikes. The noise in the paddock area is awesome.
