Legacy Diagnostics
I have a 93 Subaru Legacy Estate, that has a few running problems. What i was wondering was if there are any diagnostic plugs under the dash, if there are, where are they and what do you have to do to diagnose the fault.
Thanks

not sure if there there but you could look under the dash below the steering wheel for a pair of green connectors, and a pair if black connectors..
if you connect the black black (i may be wrong) and turn the ignition on, the
cel will flash any fault codes stored.
to clear turn off connect the green green and turn on ignition.....(but dont start)
the cel will flash and the fans and relays start to cycle....
depress the throttle and hold for 2 secs, then back off to half throttle for 2 secs... then off completly,
then start car and drive slowly no raggin it.... until the cel starts its nomal flashing on off on off etc..
hope this helps

Had a quick look last night and could not see any plugs that were obviously sticking out. Could it be that some cars did not have these plugs or am i just not looking hard enough. Where about is the exact place of them? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Luke;
They are definitley present on my my94 Legacy GT import, look in the foot well where the dash panels and steering column meet.
Full instructions on site below.
