Default New guy extremely confused.

I am in the market for a WRX and am going through the classifieds and it seems every car is in Europe. Also it seems the cars are selling for extremely low amounts, I saw a car listed for £11,000 which comes out to roughly $13,000 US dollars. Is this the correct price, it was for an STi. I know it costs alot of money to import cars like Skylines etc from Japan. Is the price to export from Europe similar?

If I was to buy a car in Europe how hard would it be to get it accross the pond?

This is so very confusing to me and I have no idea where to look!

Thank you and very nice forums!

try www.autotrader.co.uk
You should see a good range on there.
Best of luck.

Everywhere I looke it says rougly 11k euros is equal to about 13-13.5k US dollars. Wow that Autotrader is great. I would love to get a Type-R over on US soil.

Anyone know about what it would cost to import and go through all that nonsence?

Thanks, ya'll been a mighty help.

UK cars (sold on Autotrader) are sold in pounds (GBP) not euros.

And I take it you won't mind right hand drive since you're buying a UK sourced car.

why do you want a WRX from Europe?
we are (mostly) under the impression that you boys are being given a WRX with a hefty 2.5 litre block very shortly. ..... ?
