In the carpark at my work this morning, parked in my usual parking space!

It turns out that the WR1 which Simpsons had in last week belongs to a mate of mine in the office. He was keeping it super top secret from everyone, and had a good laugh on friday when i told him i'd been over at Simpsons looking at some lucky blokes WR1.

Just had a sit in it, and am promised a ride in it when it's been run in - can't wait!

Very jealous now...

How many miles is it for running it in ?

I get mine on the 26th April from Simpsons.
It looks so much better in the flesh, don't you think.

What view's do you have about the yellow stickers on the frount wings .

Well after much deliberation I've chopped my Sti in for an EVO8

Looks very good in the flesh, and is growing on me. Chap who owns it is apparently going to have the WR1 logos (on the wings) removed, he's not sure about them either.

He was told that there are colour coded bump strips available for the doors, might be a good idea.

All this looking at cars has got me thinking about ordering something, maybe with an STi badge. Hmmm....

Matt, so you've gone for the Evo 8.
I was very disapointed with the Evo 8 I took out for a test drive.
Interia sucks, trying to find a gear was like a lucky dip, I do hope you get on better with the car than I. How do you feel about the serviceing costs and is it not every 4,500k.

I've got an Fq330, so Leather\Suede. The cabin doesn't feel as snug as the Scoob but the quality of the plastics seem better. Prefer the dash of the Scoob tho'.
The gear box was really sweet. I would n't suggest that it was miles diffferent from the Sti, certainly no worse.
As far as servicing I only do enough miles for one extra service per year which is £200, so not too bad.

I really wanted something unique, there are so many Sti and Wrx's in Swindon. Sign of a good dealer tho'.

I only went out in the fq300, was solid and a fun drive untill there was a little sideways on and clipped the frount spoiler, opps never mind.

May be when you get yours and mine is here in a weeks time we can touch base.

I know what you mean about getting something unique.
What colour did you get.

Oh, by the way............. you've got by far the sexiest rear spolier, something the WR1 would have liked
