Default dump valve

just bought new bailey dump valve, but when i fitted it the car would only boost to 12 psi and it wouldnt hold it.
prior to new dv it would boost 15 psi and hold,
so i altered my boost controller to compensate for this, do you think i have done the right thing or can somebody explain to me why i lost boost with new dv
any advise and help with this small problem would be much appreciated

my car is 98 turbo
what psi should it be running at
and what psi is safe to raise it to

Simple,
Your car wasnt designed to run a DTA dv, add something your car isnt designed for and it wont work properly.
To resolve this problem, revert back to standard
