Subaru Enthusiasts Cleaning Club ? (WW promotions Ltd ?)
#1
Having been persuaded into purchasing this months copy of REVS, by the accounts of Stef and chums kicking Cossie butt, I was amazed to see on page 11 a reference to the 'Subaru Enthusiasts Cleaning Club'
This is something you have all been keeping quiet about! Is it because my car does not meet your fussy standards?
I assume Mark W must be the president. Is it a sub-section of the SIDC? - or MAYBE the driving is secondary and the SIDC is a sub-section for those SECC meembers who actually risk taking their cars out on the road
Go somebody spill the beans, let me in on the secret
Mick

Could it be something to do with "Charlie Browns" car wash. My new Impreza will have the higher Prodrive spoiler anyone know if this is OK for CB's car wash. My last Impresa had the MY99 spoiler and that was OK in the CB car wash.

As you thought my car was washed by hand it must be a good advertisment for Charlie Browns car wash. As the car is sold I can honestly tell you that my car was washed in the car wash from new. It was only polished once and I had to wash the wheels by hand to get the brake dust off. The car allways shined must have been the wax in CB's car wash.
I kid you not.

Hell..I will have to go out by Revs maggie and check this out for myself.
Honest I didn't know this Cleaning Club existed.
Had a jolly good chuckle though.
Apparently I am having some sort of bbs/bulletin board as part of the on line shopping cart thats being prepared right now.
Good fun init

Nick, I must agree about DBM a passing breeze can leave marks. I had a Reddish Blue 5 door and the paint on that was like armour plate. After two years and 56K you'd be hard pushed to find a paint chip.
You have to go naked when leaning under the hood of a DBM paint job (neighbours not too keen on the idea - why?) or the wings will end up with scratches. That's it! The cleaning club is where all the naked DBM owners meet.
