hi all and 1st quickie (question that is)
Just signed up..have been lurking for a while to get some info and just wanted to say hi to the community...(it definitely is a community...already got a wave from another scoob owner and that was just when taking the test drive )
On the verge of purchasing my first (of many?) scoobs...am looking at an MY01 WRX....
Just wanted to ask a quick question before taking the plunge...didn't get too much info just using the search function..
Have choice of 2 scoobs - identical price and mileage/condition..one is dark mica green, other is silver...in the flesh I reckon the green looks cooler but I think silver is probably safer colour..was wondering if selling a green scoob was a problem at all (not that I would want to ever sell it.... )
Cheers for an info/links to info...hope this is the start of a long and loving relationship (ahh......)

Being green will limit your market when you come to sell, doesn't make it worth less but there are people who wont buy or dont like green cars.No one is not going to buy a car because its silver, its a popular colour on scoobys.

I've got a MY01 in dgm, looks the absolute dogs. I know some people have a phobia about green cars but I dont care. Cant see it being too much of a problem to sell (doesnt matter anyway cuz I aint sellin.....ever ) Its a much better green than on classics. I've parked next to a few and they just make mine look better, or maybe thats just bias Added bonus is you dont see many others in the same colour.

Silver scoobs are the fastest so the choice is obvious

Thanks all...
didn't know that the silver ones were the fastest... You learn the most useful things on the bbs....
I guess I`ll have to take a spare 10p in addition to the cheque for 14,000 so I can play "head or tails" on the colour...
Thanks all
