Full boost available when??
I have a question about the regular and PPP ecu's, it was my understanding that a major difference with the PPP usnit was that full boost would be available from 3k rpm as apposed to 4k rpm?....is that correct? I could have sworn that i have heard this somewhere, and the reason for my query is that i noticed today that i accelerated hard in 3rd gear and spotted that at 3k full boost was hit.....
So i guess my question is, at what rpm should full boost become available? i am assuming that it is down to the ECU? or am i wrong?
Any thoughts? I have an 03 WRX.

Hi,
Have a look at Prodrive's website (www.prodrive.com) and you can view a .pdf brochure for the PPP option.
On it it shows a bhp and torque graph for a WRX and a WRX PPP.
That's not to say you'll get exactly those figures with every car... but it'll give you a fair idea of what the differences are.
Ta,
Chris
