Question Did anyone get mats ..........

......... when you bought your new scoob from the dealer !
Q - Does the Sti come with mats as standard, thing is i am 100% certain i seen in the brochure that the mats came as standard, but thing is when i picked up my MY04 Sti, it didnt have them so i phoned the dealer & he told me no & that there £60 for the set

I honestly thought spending 25k on a car you would get a set of mats ?????

anyone get anything with theres ????

I can't believe any dealer wouldn't chuck in a set of mats when buying a new car. They usually suggest it first, as if it might actually change your mind lol

Maybe you drove the price down so much they couldn't afford it...as if....

Got WRX ones chucked in for free here - no great thing though, the driver's side one is worn out after a year!!! Through to the carpet underneath!

I agree with JohnMcC, the carpet mats are rubbish anyway - mine are all but worn out after 2 years and there's not even a heel plate on them. Not really sixty quids worth !

You should be able to get them thrown in the deal though although they're not a standard item. Just tell the dealer that another dealer has offered the same price for the car with the mats as well. I'm pretty sure they won't let £60 stand in the way of a car sale.

got WRX mats thrown in, but I had to ask. Dealer didn't seem too happy and triple checked the paperwork to confirm he'd agreed to it.

Yep, my 03 WRX PPP one's have worn through on drivers side as well, and I've only done 8000 miles! Shocking. I won't be buying anymore.
