Lightbulb Best place to get a cheap personalised reg?

Am looking for one of those pre date plates,something like...

8898 ZX
9899 DZ
8755 XZ

etc,...some are ridiculous prices,around £250 is okay.
Ebay,exchange and Mart etc....where??????

DVLA i would have thought....otherwise youll get in a bidding war withsomeone and start paying over the odds...

WWW.dvla-sorn.co.uk is the cheapest do a search in the prefix category everything in on your car for £250

Trouble is the dvla dont sell dateless plates except at auction, the guy wants a dateless plate hence the link to newreg who sell Irish plates from 69 + transfer

I got mine from www.dvla-SOM.co.uk but it was a prefix type and was I very pleased with the service and price.
