I thought WRX had 240 and STI 280 ??
Anyways all down to tune of car and if the driver was just mucking around..
I fell in behind a beatiful 911 Turbo (new shape) today on the M1 - waited until a clear stretch and he/she hoofed it big time... I was way way surprised when I was able to keep pace - I didn't fall behind but there was no way I would have got passed - we both hit more traffic @ 160 MPH (that's Metres Per Hour folks)

it must be hard owning a scooby that hasn't been de-restricted that must put a right downer on all the fun.....but then again iv'e had speedo readings that would get me locked up for a very long time!

Jjones - just shy of 300BHP with 280 Llb/foot of torque - but I'm in need of a remap at the moment to fix a few problems...
p.s. I spend more money on reducing weight rather than increasing BHP -shhh keep that quiet
Oh and sub 5 sec 0-60's - hard to achieve on the road - took me about three launches to do it at santa pod (my that clutch smells bad)

Wouldn't expect you to have any trouble keeping up with an unmodded STi - your WRX officially has the same power, and the ninja back box will give you a few more horses.
By the way you might be interested to know that you've bought my brothers old car
I've got a pretty much standard 99UK Scoob and whenever we took both cars out for a 'play' he was always able to pull out a decent gap on me.
Recently came up against a Y reg 911 (300bhp) and up to about 80mph he pulled out about the same lead as my brother used to!!
