what engine mods can be done to my my03wrx if any without loosing my warranty? is it also possible to fit a dump valve and then remove it easily before a service? if it would invalidate it of course.

The only engine mod you can do on the car is the prodrive performance pack(PPP). It costs £1600 from your dealer and brings the car to almost STI speeds. Other cheaper engine mods are available(and will invalidate warrenty), but you should get approx 50% of the cost of the PPP back when you sell.

IMHO I dump value will make your car sound faster and will make little difference to how it goes. IMHO Putting things on only to take them off for services etc, is a dodgy thing to do as it could be construed as attempting to defraud.

Check with your dealer, PPP is the only one but if your dealer fits a backbox, Dump Valve ect you should still be covered.

My dealer is spot on changed backbox and panel filter and hes ok with it.
