Question

Hi Everyone,

Would anybody be able to shed light on this!? I currently have a Mongoose full system but would quite like to change this to an HKS system. Is the Mongoose downpipe compatible with the HKS system?

Also, does anyone recommend a place in the North East or M1/A1 corridor to get an HKS system from?

Many thanks as per usual!

Jon.

I know that they are not in the North-East, but you could try DP Motorsport in Cheshire (North-West) at

Cool

Hi Jon,

How's it going??

The HKS system is compatible with most downpipes since most downpipes are compatible with the original system! The question is- is the Mongoose downpipe compatible with the standard system or does it have to be used with the mongoose system? I'm pretty sure that they will be compatible!

The HKS system is designed to be used with either the standard downpipe or the HKS downpipe so I'm sure it will fit!

Good choice by the way. The HKS SuperDrager is one of the only systems on the market made from aluminised steel as opposed to stainless which means that although it won't last a lifetime it doesn't drone and boom into the cabin either. I'm very happy with mine and it sounds the mutts too!! Not to mention looks it! I look at the standard and the common 3" tailpipes now and they look pathetic by comparison!!

Oh and Marcus...you didn't ask permission from me to get a Wagon with Drager and blacked out windows!! But then I'm not in Rusthall so I'll let you off!!

Laters,
Nito

Hi Nito!
How are you? Have you still got the silver beastie?!
Looks like I may keep the downpipe and sell the rest for a Super Dragger. They do look lovely; The Mont Blanc of the exhaust world?!
