hi guys
this is my first post so break me in gently.
I am coming upto 23 and looking to buy a scooby sport come spring. I am currently driving a ****e corsa and havent got a clue what to look for when buying a scooby ! Do they have a common problem to keep an eye out for. what price should I be looking at for a V reg ish old style sport. anybody got a rough idea of insurance on these things 23 3 points speedy rest of licence clear 4 years n/claims

any other info would be great please guys

Rob,

I owned an X reg sport am a little older than you at 27 but my insurance worked out about £500 a year. Beleive me you won;t regret getting one of these and after a few more years you will want a turbo.

I have come from the www.corsasport.co.uk board and dont take this the wrote way ! I aint used to sensible answers and am glad to receive help!

thanks alot do many cars go up for sale on the board then or not?

I'd keep a furtive eye out on the for sale section as it is a very fast mover.

Also look in Auto Trader for your area as there are plenty of Scoobs available to look at.

Just remember to shop around and make sure you cover every avenue before making a final decision.
