Go careful m8 - they don't stop too well and the wider wheels (if you;ve got them) can almost cancel out the AWD advantage in snow. My old man had a Renault 4 years ago when I was a kid and it had wheels as wide as a motorbike tyre and it went anywhere in the snow!

As odd as it may sound, titchy narrow tyres dig into snow better and give more grip than big wide sporting ones, and short of chucking an anchor out the back, nothing will save you if you happen to hit a patch of ice while carrying too much momentum.
Imprezas on summer tyres can be a recipe for disaster in these conditions, as they have a nasty habit of inspiring much more confidence than is appropriate. There's already been one poor soul dink his car today, please don't get too blasé about the conditions, as you know where pride comes.
