i have a my99 with a magnex back box on it , will the decat center make any difference to the performance and will it make it any louder? working nights and neighbours and all that ,cheers kazlo

i have a full decat with magnex bb.my girl hears me at the end of our street so must be pretty loud.

 

Is there not two types of decat centres, resonated and non resonated?

 

I've got a ProDrive BB with a Scoobysport de-cat centre. Quite a bit louder with the de-cat than with just the BB ... and my Mrs can hear me from the end of the street too

I had a magnex bb, bit louder than standard,

Added a center decat, quite a bit louder, bit more puling power.

Then added a decat downpipe more noise even more power.

Then added a firestorm.

My missus can't hear anything anymore.
