After speaking to a very helpfull chap in my local scooby shop,

he mentioned i could get about 30+ bhp if i lose the cat, anyone out there had this done, and then rolling roaded to prove it had a good increase. and is it also true that a MY95 WRX has dual Cat on it.

30 bhp sounds about right. Makes a hell of a difference as well. Yes your car will have a downpipe cat and a centre section cat. Replace the downpipe for a straight through pipe and enjoy instant horses. Follow up with a £75.00 Scooby ecu and you should have around 300 reliable, safe bhp and a car that is ok to run on uk fuel.

Will transform your car. You won't be dissapointed.

Hi.

Yes you can gain 30 + bhp with decat. I got a WRX my95 wit full decat & had it on Well Lane's rollers last sat & got 271bhp & thats with a fecked coil pack. Im also gonna go for a scooby ecu upgrade !!

Decaat downpipe will cost approx £200 (not sure 2nd hand prices.
Decat centre section will cost upto £100 depending on where you buy (£60-70 second hand)
Back box upto £300 (£150+ second hand)

This lot combined will give somewhere around +30BHP but it does vary dependant on the car.

If you look in the for sale section you can pick most bits up second hand if you keep your eyes open. In fact I have a centre section for sale currently ([ clicky)

You shouldn't need an ECU upgrade for these mods but the Scoobyecu chip is not expensive.

not to be disrespectfull to scooby dan, but i thought a MY95 WRX was 260BHP, this plus the decat should fire out around 290BHP,

althogh he did mention a " fooked coil ", is this giving you a performance drop.
