What is the chassis code for the 2003-2004 WRX's ? (Latest shape)

Is it GDA ?

Hi Prana, I have just got an MY53 STi8 Type UK and on the log book it says Chassis code is GDB? Hope this is of help (I don't understand what all the numbers and letters mean anyway, but I'm sure someone will somewhere). Tara for now.

So sorry prana, I'm a complete t*t, jumped the gun a little and in the rush to help didn't read your thread properly, you said a WRX which will probably carry a different code anyway than mine, doh!!! sorry M8 (brain is in gear now). By the way welcome, I am a new member too.

No, thank you heaps, that really helped, as I happened to notice that the GDB is supposed to be the WRX STI, and hence WRX is most probably GDA. I was worried it could be GGA, GGB but I think the GG series belongs to the wagons.

Thanks for the welcome, I am new too. Registered a little while ago but have not had the chance to post as I am picking up my WRX in May next year. Already buying mods for it, Fujitsubo Legalis R and looking at an Apexi intake pod as well.

Wow, hows the STI ? I bet its all smiles ! I did an intro to Rally course a month back and they have a Group A WRX and a Group N evo 6, I love the WRX no comparison. See you around

 

Prana, sorry about not replying pronto but have been scooting all over the pages and forgot which ones Ineede to reply to. The STi is great although I'm busy trying to add miles to it and get it run in. Like you I'm keen to mod but will have to watch the sacred warranty. Should'nt be long now before I can plant the loud pedal!!! Hope you enjoy yours when you get it. Take care now.
