Had my car serviced at Spring Park yesterday, very impressed with the overall service. For those of you using Lancasters of Sevenoaks try Spring Park next time, they are 20% cheaper for a start.

Question

How does that work i thought Subaru labour and parts were all the same price? Or did Spring Park motors do the job faster??

Ian

Lancasters quoted £115, Spring Park £95.
I did ask Lancasters and they said that a car wash is included in the price, although if I didnt want the wash I would still pay £115. £20 is an expensive wash !.
Spring Park are a small family run business, it showed. Well recommended IMHO.

We use Spring Park - last service we had with them on our old Scooby came to £85. Would highly recommend them.

Have just bought a year old RB5 ProDrive off them - having great fun!!

Funnily enough I just got off the phone with International Motors technical queries department, the lovely sounding lady there suggested I phone around before getting my car booked in for it's service as prices vary considerably!
Yours Happily,
Charles

Thumbs up

Just as a side note, the SIDC is trying to encourage main dealers to give a parts / labour discount to SIDC members. Cheam Motors in Surrey (my local) were (I think) the first. They offer a 10% discount.

Cheers

Chris

I used Lancasters in Sevenoaks for a couple of years. They were always expensive and the service was indifferent but the location was convenient (close to the station).
My car was always cleaner when it went in than when it came out! If they had told me about the clean I would have taken it in dirty.
