Question

A friend of mine is looking at getting a UK Forester Turbo S.

He's asked me, 'What can he do to it?'

So I'll forward the question on to some more knowledgable people!!

I see that ScoobySport do a backbox for it, but what air filter will it take??

How far can it be tuned? How can it be tuned? Who can tune it? That sort of thing??

Can anyone help a family man who needs a Forester over an Impreza??

Cheers
Andy

There is a Prodrive Pack for it. Evo magazine had one as a long termer a while ago. They had wheels and handling mods done to it although I can't remember if anything was done to the engine bar the exhaust. I'll dig out the issue later tonight.

Andy,

Take a look at MRT's web site which has parts for the Forester and Legacy, as well as the Impreza.

Cheers for the answers.

Mark, I'll check my back catlogue of the bible (Evo) myself. But thanks for the offer!

Gavin, thanks, I didn't realise that MRT do bits for the Forester!

Cheers

We've just taken delivery of the latest version of this. Naturally we still have a Scooby but we needed something bigger for the family and a mobile skip for our DIY.
As was pointed out Evo did do a Prodrive conversion which I'm sure did the engine up to 210BHP. Scoobysport MIM wheels also fit the Forester and PeteC says they improve the handling.
After a week I'm still smiling because the car is completely bonkers!! Sure it has more body roll but not unpleasantly so (about as much as the most recent Golf GTi). Despite it's looks it is still a fast car and because of the roll it feels a lot faster hence the fun! There is a WRX Sti version and I might be able to find the URL for that, somebody posted it on IWOC last week. It looks mad and it has 280 BHP(OK I exagerated a tad!)

Andy

What your friend wants is a Forester ttb or stb (like the pic above, but without the bits added on). They have 242 bhp as standard.
