Got mine today and fitted it. Very disappointed as it whistles rather than whooshes. Needless to say I have put the purple 1 back. What sort of sound do you guys get from your original Silver insert which I have never heard due to mine coming with the above.

Thanks Sly. I cant believe the HKS sounds that bad with the Silver insert as well. Glad I kept the purple 1 now!!!

Whooosh and Psssst but it is a lower freq sound than my old Bailey. The reason I bought the gold was I thought it would make the sound slightly higher pitched thus giving off a louder dump sound but i guess not as all the gold does is whistle!!!!

CTR the Bailey was much louder. Mine is deffo not deafening on full chat with Purple insert.
Ragna Gold inserts are £15. You can have my Gold 1 for £10 incl postage from Ireland or Ill give ya a straight swap for your Silver 1. Easy to change just loosen 4 allen bolts on the front of DV. I took mine out to do it as it was easier that way.
