I am well confused now!

This is what i understand is the Bugeye standard OEM exhaust:-
Downpipe - contains a cat and sensor
Cat pipe - contains a cat
Centre section - resonance pipe (no cat)
Rear Silencer

IIRC there are three cats on a bug eye 2001. One in the down pipe, one in the uppipe (quick start cat) and one in the centre. Just to add more confusion

The bugeye PPP replaces the centre cat (referred to above as the cat pipe)with a decat section, and replaces the rear silencer with one that makes a nicer noise. Neither the upipe cat or downpipe cat are changed.

Cheers,

Grant.

GTMR, that is exactly what i thought, but after reading lots of posts and speaking to TSL, scooby exhausts and magnex i have got totally lost in to what bit is what and where it goes!

If the Cat pipe is replaced is a CEL fix required (this what magnex told me), or is that just if you replce the downpipe.

Almost sorted, hopefully
