Can anyone confirm that the block exemption thingy has finally gone this month and we can now get Scoobs serviced anywhere (so long as it's on time and with equivalent parts) without invalidating warranties. The thought of going to a reputable third party service outlet rather than a main dealer (charging extortionate hourly rates) is quite appealing...

Thought that was the case anyway for quite a while, as long as its a reputable garage and they use Subaru parts or equivalent standard.

Something to do with restrictive practices etc IIRC? Call 'em and ask to confirm.
