I wave and flash (lights ). I reckon only about 50% respond here in the Midlands though, and the majority in Warwickshire seem to be unaware of the idea. They just look blankly at you, or shake their head in disgust.

I nod me head to others but many of them just up there own A$$ and dont acknowledge you - or they look up up and down to c who got the better scoob, sad or wot - we own scoobs they all tops!

I always wave. Even when my passengers snigger at me. Only half wave back though - miserable lot!

 

they are arent they, there is even more in our area and non acknowledge you, the ones that do tend to be older. I acknowledge and i only 24!

mostly to classic's as I don't normally get one back from the new shape scoobs :-(

 

Up here in Derbyshire no one or very few wave/acknowledge you, but recently went down to Bristol and everyone down there either waves/flashes or nods the head (It made a nice change compared to the grumpy farmer boys we've got up here).

 

I do but there ain't many of us here in France. It is the arrogance - they think it is OTT in looks. Other Scooby drivers are also sometimes reluctant to wave back

 

I have an MY03 and always wave / flash (Much to the amusement of the wife when people don't wave back !!!)
To me, they are all Scoobs... Doesn't matter if its old or new...
I try my best!!!
Mostly get a friendly wave or flash back - Not sure if when I have gone by the owners are thinking who the hell was that ? - and why did he wave ???

 

Maybe if I actually see them in time but I certainly don't feel the need to complain if they don't wave back.

Yea me 2.... I wave and Flash.. The women dont tend to wave back, in fact they dont even see me. Think maybe a women thing when they drive they have not a clue on whats going on around them(Not all women drivers dont wanna affend anyone).

Think you lot get funny looks, you ought to see the looks you get when you wave or flash your lights when driving a Forester,its an Impreza with a different body on not a lump of dog turd

 

Yep i do most wave back but do get better response from classic drivers.Dosenoffner re check that thread before you get all worked up about it.

i always wave in my 03, trouble is i sometimes drive the wifes old volvo and forget and still wave and you should see the startled look on all your faces!!

yes, i do it all the time when i see a scooby coming to me whatever they are classic or bugeyes. Butta i don't think bugeye drivers are willing to do so and it seems like they don't like claasic scoobies or anything else. Anyways, i do
