My MY98 UK has hit 100,000 this week

And it still has'nt broken down on me or given me any grief other than replacement pads, discs, light bulbs, I'm still on the original clutch!! is this a record for a clutch.

I have to say I'm obviously tempting fate by writing this but what a car, I've had it since new and it still hurtles along as it did when it was new, if anything it felt like it had loosened up at 50,000. I have absolutely no complaints, and due to our nipper being born I now have to sell it to get something that is cheaper to run/maintain, I'm pretty gutted 1:Someone is going to get a lot of car for a little money 2:I'm going to miss it loads, Ive had it nearly 5 years now and ive only thought of getting rid of it twice, both times for a another scoob, the 3 BM's I had previously, 2 of which were Motor Sport'(coupe and conv) certainly did'nt evoke the feelings my Scoob has and I got bored of the BM's after 6 months and moved on to the next ala POC.

Still when I finally move out of London and the kids grow up I'll be back for a STi V16 LOL

Until then im counting the days I have left with the old girl and enjoying them as much now as I have done over the past 5 years.

Cheers

Dave

My 1998 turbo is on 119,800 miles on the original clutch, so I regret to inform you no records there!
