Ok everyone, gonna be looking at getting a scooby in the next few months, was banking on a evo 5-6 but now decided that a bugeyed is probably the way forward with the morette conversion, got aroun 16k to spend i'm little bit worried that the performance will be a let down, is it possible to get the ppp for these cars or is that only an option on newer wrx's any advice would be welcome.. cheers guys

Rick

Any dealer should be able to fit the PPP to this one without affecting your warranty

Just had a look an it's a beauty as it is

Your warranty would run out in May 2004 anyway but you can buy extended warranties from Subaru of varying descriptions up to a 2 year unlimited milage warranty

IIRC, the MY01 WRX has 225bhp as standard and the PPP takes it to 265bhp with some exhaust goodies and a chip/remap type thing Last time I was at a dealers, they cost £1600

It all really depends on what you are after. You may decide to not bother with a warranty and get an aftermarket full decat exhaust system and induction kit for less than £1k and then get it remapped by the likes of Dr Banks for similar if not better power

At this stage, get yourself down to your local meet and chat with some owners and have a look/go in their cars
