Hello.

I'm looking to buy a new car and am having a poke around in the For Sale forum.

Seen a couple of scoobs advertised with the Prodrive Pacakge. Can someone spare the time to give a brief explination of what this is?

Is it a Ecu Upgrade/Exhaust etc..?

Exactly what you thought. It's an ECU upgrade, backbox and larger intercooler pipe. Ups bhp to 246, increases torque. Takes 0-60 down to 4.8ish and improves in-gear acceleration response. Well worth doing but can be done cheaper yourself if you don't care too much about your warranty.

the exact components vary slightly but basically it is as you say, ECU upgrade, exhaust centre section and back box. In the case of the classic shape it also included Samco intercooler hoses due to the slightly higher boost. Dont know whether this applies to later cars too.
The good thing about the PPP is that it is the only way of modding a car without invalidating your warranty.
