What are the differences between a my94 wrx and a my96 sti v2? and is it worth paying more for the sti if the wrx is in slightly better condition?

Thanks for the reply, i'm going to see a high spec wrx and a more expensive sti and was wondering if it is worth the extra cash. S'pose i won't know till i've seen and driven them.

The later STI was claimed to have more BHP as standard, I don't know what major differences there are. I've got the MY94 STI which will have the closed deck engine block for sure and certainly is a powerful car. I have never had it on the rollers but everyone says it has got more power than the 250 PS claimed by Subaru. The STI has got better suspension, and water spray for the intercooler as standard. It is claimed to be handbuilt by STI too. They also come with a front strut brace. They have very nice seats too. I am not sure about the gearing on the WRX but the STI has a close ratio box.
